Greetings, RGV Family! We are thrilled to announce our upcoming Anglers’ Night Out (ANO) event, taking place on November 5, 2026, at Howling Rabbits, located at 1200 Auburn Ave., Suite 350, McAllen, TX 78504, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. To secure your spot, please be sure to RSVP and join us for an evening of great company, appetizers, and drinks—on us!

In addition to a great evening together, we will also be hosting a 12-Gun Raffle, with 12 lucky winners drawn that night. Raffle tickets are $20 each or 6 for $100.

Also, our board members are already working diligently to make the 2027 CCA RGV Chapter Banquet another memorable event. Mark your calendars for April 9, 2027, at the Mission Event Center! The Grand Prize Winner of the 2027 CCA RGV Chapter Banquet Raffle will take home a Freedom Boat Chiquita with a Suzuki Motor, accessorize with a Power-Pole and a 80-qt. Engel Cooler, and a Coastline Aluminum Trailer. The second-place winner will receive a trip for two to Cabo, including a fishing trip, while the third-place winner will take home a Louis Vuitton Tag Me Pouch. Banquet raffle tickets are $50 each, with special pricing available for multiple-ticket purchases: 3 tickets for $100 and 20 tickets for $500. Tickets can be purchased at The Sportsman in San Benito or by contacting any CCA RGV Board Member.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to The Sportsman and Freedom Boats USA for their commitment and partnership with the CCA RGV Chapter this year. We are especially grateful for their generous support in providing the Freedom Chiquita for our 2027 banquet raffle.

The 2026 banquet was held on Friday, February 6 and it was an incredible sold-out event! Thank you to all attendees, volunteers, and sponsors for your support, together we helped raise crucial funds that will help ensure the health and conservation of our marine resources and anglers’ access to them here in Texas. Stay tuned for 2027 banquet details.
