We want to thank everyone for joining us at our last chapter meeting. We were honored to have guest speakers Allan Berger and Brigid Berger from San Antonio Bay Partnership join us. The two shared the various working projects they have going on such as crab trap cleanup, turtle rescue, shoreline cleanup, education classes, and habitat restoration, just to name a few. In addition, the facts of their 2025 efforts were shared which included over 24,000 items removed from the bay and shoreline that don’t belong there (much of it plastic). The CCA Mid Coast Chapter’s next meeting will be October 27, 2026 at The Sky Restaurant in Victoria, 6:30 p.m.
