Quick update from your Fort Worth Chapter Board. We hope you are all doing well and had an awesome Thanksgiving however you chose to celebrate. Recently we hosted our annual Fall Fish Fry for our local members. We had some awesome raffle prizes get distributed and served up some great fried fish, sides and cold beverages. I also want to take a moment to recognize our new partnership with the Orvis store of Fort Worth. Because of this partnership, the Orvis store was able to make a nice contribution to CCA through our Chapter. We are looking forward to expanding the partnership going forward and encourage each of you to go by and visit the store! Keep a lookout for updates for the annual Spring Crawfish boil and mark your calendars for May 1, 2025 for the Banquet. If you would like to reserve your spot now, please let us know and we can get this taken care of. If you still need to make any last-minute charitable donations, we could easily help you out with that! As always, we appreciate you and your continued support. The 2024 banquet was held on Thursday, May 2nd and it was an INCREDIBLE event! Special thanks to all attendees, volunteers, and sponsors for your support, together we helped raise crucial funds that will help ensure the health and conservation of our marine resources and anglers’ access to them here in Texas. Stay tuned for 2025 banquet details.
