The Corpus Christi Chapter is not slowing down! We have a busy fall planned! I would like to welcome the following individuals to our Executive and Advisory Board: Executive Board – Secretary Karol Blake and Treasurer Forrest Whitaker. New Advisory Board Members – Mimi Guthrey, Mckenna Reinsch, Walter Wilson, Anna Castillo and Marissa Meyers
I am proud to announce that our college club (TAMUCC – Islander CCA) recently completed their third Oso Bay cleanup project and removed a significant amount of debris to include 68 bags of trash, 1 car bumper and a desk from Oso Bay along Ocean Drive. Islander CCA was formed four years ago and has become an integral part of our chapter events as well as taking an active role in coordinating and participating in other events to support our bay systems and local community.

As of the submission deadline of this chapter update, our 21st Anniversary Babes on Baffin was just two weeks away! We will provide a more thorough update after the event but want to take the opportunity to thank those who have already done so much to make it successful.
We have had an overwhelming outpouring of support from our community partners this year and already have a record number of sponsorships! The Poco Rojo Kid Fish will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the CCA/TPWD Marine Development Center. We would once again like to thank Flint Hills Resources for stepping up as title sponsor for this event. More information to come soon!
Mark your Calendars the 2026 Corpus Christi Chapter Banquet is scheduled for Thursday, March 5, 2026 at the Hilliard Center (formerly American Bank Center).
