The latest from CURRENTS
Well, we are finally getting a break in the summer heat, and I like it! Temperatures are cooling down and so is our chapter’s schedule and WOW what a summer we had!
Great turnouts and good times were had at all our events this summer.
Our CCA Fort Bend committee members have been on the ball this year making plans and coming up with new ideas for the 2026 banquet. Be on the lookout for our Banquet boat and details.
Our CCA Fort Bend Chapter is planning a fall fishing trip to Rockport in October. This is a great time for us to have some good fellowship, good grub, good fishing and find our honey holes for next year’s ICC.
We have a few guest speakers lined up for some open meetings coming up and hopefully in the next issue I will have the schedule lined up and will share the dates.
On behalf of the Fort Bend Chapter I would like to give a special Happy Thanksgiving to everyone that reads our issue of the currents.
I’d like to give special thanks to Joe’s Oyster Bar & Grill in Rosenberg for letting us hold our monthly meetings there and to Sportsman’s Boat and RV Storage for their support of our chapter. Remember, take a kid fishing! They just may grow up and return the favor. Till next time…
