Howdy all, our Fort Bend committee members have been on the ball this year making plans and coming up with new and better ideas for this year’s banquet.
Flats Cats Boats is putting the final touches on this year’s raffle boat, and we are excited to get in circulation.
I’d like to thank Hoss Archery and Outdoor in Rosenberg for hosting our Anglers’ Night Out along with our guest speaker Capt. Clint Barghi. We had a great event with around 50 guests from the community. Thank you all for attending and support.
A few dates to mark in your calendars: Feb. 18-22 is the Fishing show at GRB (Our boat will be on display), April 16 will be the 2026 CCA Fort Bend Chapter Banquet and we will host our Kid Fish in July (exact date TBD).
I’d like to give special thanks to Joe’s Oyster Bar & Grill in Rosenberg for letting us hold our monthly meetings there, Wet Sounds Inc. and Sportsman’s Boat and RV Storage for their Chapter support. Take a kid fishing! They just may grow up and return the favor! Till next time…
