CURRENTS – Dec/Jan 2019
Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you readers out there. It is our hope that the holidays are a time of celebration with family and friends. Who knows, maybe you are one of the lucky ones that fit in a cold weather fishing trip! The Fort Worth Chapter recently held its Fall General Membership Meeting and Fish Fry hosted by your Board of Directors. We saw some new additions with frog legs making a brief showing as they were a fan favorite. For all of you who made it out thank you for your continued support and for those that missed, be on the lookout for an announcement of our Spring event coming up. It has been confirmed that we will be serving up some flavorful mudbugs for the second year in a row. During the first event you all ate over 400 pounds of crawfish! Amazing! Also, please mark the date of May 2nd, 2019 on your calendars for our annual banquet at the famous Joe T Garcias in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards. A big shout out to Tanner Fenoglio who played acoustic for us during our fall event as well. We are always looking to expand our board and bring on additional help, so if you are interested please reach out to us. Also feel free to email or call with any sponsorship/donation interest. Thanks for all you do in your support of your local chapter! – John Black
The 2019 Fort Worth Chapter Annual Banquet will be held May 2nd. Stay tuned for details.
