We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and extend our wishes for a happy new year. Our chapter is preparing for the 1st annual kidfish event with our partner, the Shiner Fire Department. The event will be held on April 18, 2026, from 8am -12 pm at the Green-Dickson Park in Shiner, Texas. It is a free fishing event for kids under 16 years old, but registration is required. We will wrap up the fishing at 11 a.m. and provide a hot dog lunch with chips and drinks. Please see our flyer for more information and to register. We look forward to seeing you there.
Also, save the date for our 2026 CCA Come and Catch It Chapter Annual Banquet on August 7 at the JB Wells Expo Park starting at 5:30 p.m.
