Howdy CCA Helotes, it’s been a while since we’ve had an update. The chapter held our 7th annual banquet on March 21, 2024 and boy was it a huge success. Thanks to our wonderful sponsors:

I also want to thank the fantastic venue, Pedrotti’s Ranch, which under the watchful eye of Anthony Pedrotti made sure our every need was met. The food and service were outstanding. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
Thank you to Brittney Clay for wowing us with her rendition of the National Anthem and to the Harlan High School AFJROTC color guard for presenting the colors. Also, a big thank you to the great Mayor of Helotes, Richard Whitehead, who gave a very appropriate and timely invocation.
Next, I need to thank all the committee members that spent countless hours preparing and planning the event: Nathan and Karen Lutz, Tyson and Shandlyn Gaenzel, Angie and Madelyn Rayburg, Pat and Judy Mitchell, John and Karen Botter, Mike and Amy Mullholland, Mark Schofield, Bob and Caitlin Mitchell, Matt and Melanie Murray, Don and Nancy Castro, Sam Santos, Lisa Sanchez, Joel Lutz, Mack Rigby, Charles and Vicky Sablatura and Jerry Nunnely. I don’t want to brag, but after 30 plus banquets at various chapters, the is one of the best operations in CCA Texas. Congratulations to our crew on another very successful banquet.
Lastly, I want to thank all our attendees. You know, it’s pretty hard to have a fundraiser without a generous group of folks. The Helotes community is strong and gets behind worthy causes on a regular basis.

The 2024 banquet was held on Thursday, March 21 and it was a huge success! Thank you to all attendees, volunteers, and sponsors for your support, together we helped raise crucial funds that will help ensure the health and conservation of our marine resources and anglers’ access to them here in Texas.
