The latest from CURRENTS
The Highland Lakes Chapter of CCA Texas wishes all CCA members a great fall fishing season. The crowds and doldrums of summer are giving way to an incredible time of year to hit your favorite coastal haunt for the running of the bulls and some great memories with family and friends. As we look ahead to spring, keep in mind that our next chapter banquet will be on April 16, 2026, so put us on your calendar for another great gathering of fellow anglers and a good time on Lake Marble Falls. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor for the 2026 Banquet, please contact Tim Franke, President, for information on how we can provide excellent visibility during and after the banquet to over 1,000 nearby CCA Members.
In other news, we will contact all area-wide members with a survey to gauge your level of interest in a 2026 area Golf Tournament and Sporting Clays event. As one of the newest CCA Texas Chapters, we want to hear from and listen to all area members so that we can provide activities and venues beyond the very important annual banquet that are well suited to your interests. By listening to you, we hope to create more opportunities for CCA to become a bigger part of your outdoor sporting activities throughout the year, and to particularly connect you with more local anglers to share future fishing adventures with.
For more information about our chapter, contact Tim at the number or email above. Our board meets for a meal and discussion on the second Tuesday of most months at a restaurant in Marble Falls. Every CCA Member is invited to join us and become a contributing Board Member. We would love to have you work with us to make Highland Lakes CCA the best it can be! Tight lines out there and remember to take those kids fishing!
