This year’s 2025 Mid Coast Chapter CCA Banquet is quickly approaching. Please join us Thursday, May 8, 2025 at the Victoria Community Center. The famous gulf coast eats from Cathy’s in POC will be catering the event along with an oyster bar. In addition, we will be raffling off a Scherer Kubota RTV along with other very nice prizes! Sponsor tables are quickly filling up. There are other opportunities for sponsorship as well. You can contact Erich Schneider or Elisa Carter for sponsorship options.
There is nothing like a child’s smile when what seems like a monster snatches up the bait on the end of their fishing line and takes off! All Gene wanted for his 5th birthday was to go fishing with his family. He got his birthday wish. A big thank you to Captain Stephen Gardner from Matagorda for making this little guy’s birthday wish come true. There were no monster fish caught that day but the birthday boy didn’t care – memories were made and he loved every minute of it! All fish were caught and released safely.
