Greetings from RGV! We are thrilled to announce the upcoming Anglers’ Night Out (ANO) event, taking place on November 13, 2025, at the Howling Rabbits Beerworks (1200 Auburn Ave suite 350, McAllen, TX 78504) from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. To secure your spot, please RSVP via email, which will be sent to all CCA RGV members shortly, and join us for an evening of appetizers and drinks on us. Additionally, that night, we will also be holding a raffle with 10 guns and will draw 10 lucky winners. Tickets can be purchased for $20 each or 6 for $100.

Also, our board members are working diligently to plan the 2026 banquet, which is rapidly approaching, now less than five months away. We invite you to make plans and mark your calendars to attend the banquet on February 6, 2026, at the Mission Event Center. The main prize for the 2026 banquet raffle this year is a Can-Am Defender Max Lone Star edition (provided by F&T Valley Motor Sports), sitting on top of a 16-foot Fort Bragg Utility Trailer with tandem axles with a ramp (provided by Mid Valley Trailer Sales). The runner-up prizes include a Build Your Own Deep Root Custom Rifle for second place, a CCA Lifetime Membership with the 2026 Gun of the Year for third place, a Trout Table for the 2027 Banquet for fourth place, and a Turtlebox for fifth place. Tickets are available for purchase at $50 each, with special offers for multiple-ticket purchases: three tickets for $100 or twenty tickets for $500. To secure your tickets, you can visit The Sportsman (in San Benito), F&T Valley Motor Sports (in Pharr & San Benito), or contact any CCA RGV Board Members.

Banquet

The 2025 banquet was held on Friday, March 28th and it was one of our best yet! Thank you to all attendees, volunteers, and sponsors for your support, together we helped raise crucial funds that will help ensure the health and conservation of our marine resources and anglers’ access to them here in Texas. Stay tuned for 2026 banquet details.
