Can you smell it, it’s in the air, the smell of a good ole fashioned FUNDraiser in the aroma of boiled crawfish, fried catfish, open bar and a guaranteed good time while doing our part to contribute to the Mission Statement of CCA Texas. All of this and more will take place at the CCA Greater Sugar Land Chapter Annual Banquet to be held at the Stafford Centre on Thursday, April 9, 2026. You don’t want to miss this banquet with our friends from Cajun Country Cookers who always prepare a great meal for us with boiled crawfish, fried catfish and all the fixings. Requests are coming in from our Community Partners to help them host their Kid Fish Events in 2026. We try to accommodate as many as we can, however we need your help in volunteering. Once you see a youngster catch their first fish and their big Ole Texas smile you will be glad you volunteered.
Our Chapter team for is excited about the Inter Chapter Challenge taking place this year on June 12-13, 2026 at the Fulton Event Center. We look forward to meeting members of the other chapters and enjoying the friendly competition and comradery.
If you would like to get involved with the Greater Sugar Land CCA Chapter, feel free to contact myself at greatersugarlandcca@gmail.com or better yet attend one of our board meetings that take place at a new location El Fogon Mexican Kitchen, 4514 Highway 6 in Sugar Land. We meet at 6:30 p.m. for social time and the meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. The 2026 board meeting schedule is Tuesday, April 14, May, June, July, August – no Board Meetings, Tuesday September 8, Tuesday October 13, Tuesday November 10, December 2026 – no board meeting.
