We hope that you are having a great summer with quality family time and fishing. The CCA RGV board has scheduled the banquet for April 9, 2027, so please ensure that you save the date. We have also secured the 2027 Chapter Banquet Raffle item, which debuted at the Texas Hunters and Sportsman Expo. The grand prize winner of the 2027 CCA RGV Chapter Banquet Raffle will be taking home a Freedom Boats Chiquita with Suzuki Motor, Coastline Aluminum Trailer, Powerpole and 80qt Engel Cooler. The runner-up prizes include a trip for 2 to Cabo with fishing trip for second place, and a Louis Vuitton Purse (Tag Me Pouch) for third place. Tickets are available for purchase at $50 each, with special offers for multiple-ticket purchases: three tickets for $100 or twenty tickets for $500. To secure your tickets, contact a CCA RGV Board Member. At this time, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to our Multi-Year Exclusive Title Advertiser, L&F Distributors, for their ongoing and unwavering support. Additionally, we would like to thank The Sportsman and Freedom Boats USA for their commitment and partnership with us this year by providing us the Freedom Chiquita Boat. The 2026 banquet was held on Friday, February 6 and it was an incredible sold-out event! Thank you to all attendees, volunteers, and sponsors for your support, together we helped raise crucial funds that will help ensure the health and conservation of our marine resources and anglers’ access to them here in Texas.
