As this is being written, we are expecting one of the early cool fronts for the year! Hopefully by the time you are reading this, the heat of Summer will be behind us, we will be enjoying the full transition to Fall, and the biggest decision will be: Should we fish or hunt this weekend?!
We will be hosting our last Anglers’ Night Out for the year on Tuesday, October 21. Our speaker is going to be Capt. Gabe Peregrine “Jetty James” from “Out Cast Fishin Charters”. He will be giving an update on what’s happening in the Galveston Bay System and sharing tips on how to have a successful Fall-Early Winter fishing season. The meeting will be held at Big Horn BBQ in Pearland and the speaker will start at 7:00 p.m.
Thanks go out to Capt. Scott Wallace from “Wallace Guide Service” for coming out to speak at our September “Anglers Night Out”! He made an excellent presentation about “Mid Coast Fishing”, chasing trophy specs and redfish.
As we wrap up our chapter activities for 2025, we want to say, thank you again, to all who came out to support CCA and the Alvin Pearland Chapter this year. It’s all about the resources we enjoy, conserving them, and sharing them with our kids for generations to come!
